Conventional and advanced water treatment for drinking water, process water, boiler feed, and utility applications — WTP, Water Softeners, and DI Systems designed, fabricated, and commissioned by Pervel across India.
Water treatment is the process of improving raw water quality — from surface water, groundwater, or municipal supply — to meet the specific requirements of its intended use. Drinking water, cooling tower makeup, boiler feed, process water, and utility water all have different quality specifications — and each requires a different treatment approach.
A Water Treatment Plant (WTP) processes raw surface or groundwater through coagulation, flocculation, sedimentation, sand filtration, and disinfection — producing potable or process-grade water at scale. A Water Softener removes hardness (calcium and magnesium ions) through cation exchange — protecting equipment, boilers, and membranes from scale. A Deionisation (DI) System removes dissolved minerals using mixed resin cartridges — providing laboratory or process-grade water at lower volumes without the complexity of a full DM plant.
Pervel designs, fabricates, and commissions all three systems — as standalone units or as integrated stages within larger water treatment trains for municipal, industrial, and institutional clients.
Each technology addresses a different water quality challenge — from turbidity and biological contamination in raw water, to hardness in process water, to dissolved solids in precision applications.
Conventional multi-stage treatment of surface water, groundwater, or municipal supply — coagulation, flocculation, sedimentation, sand filtration, and disinfection — producing potable or process-grade water. Pervel has delivered WTPs from 500 KLD drinking water plants in Andhra Pradesh to the 1 MLD Kuwait WTP (2023).
Explore WTPSodium-cycle cation exchange removes hardness — calcium (Ca²⁺) and magnesium (Mg²⁺) — producing soft water with hardness below 5 mg/L as CaCO₃. Essential before boilers, cooling towers, RO membranes, and heat exchangers to prevent scale formation. Regenerated with common salt (NaCl) solution.
Explore Water SoftenerDeionisation using mixed resin cartridges or a dedicated DI unit removes dissolved mineral ions to produce high-purity water — conductivity below 1 µS/cm — for laboratory, analytical, and light industrial applications. Simpler than a full DM plant, DI systems are ideal for smaller volumes and point-of-use purification.
Explore DI SystemTwo decades of in-house design, fabrication, and field commissioning — across municipal, industrial, and international projects.
Pressure vessels, filter housings, softener tanks, chemical dosing skids, and interconnecting pipework fabricated at Pervel's Chennai facility — quality verified before dispatch.
Every system sized from actual site water analysis — turbidity, hardness, TDS, pH, iron, and biological load. No generic configurations.
From 500 KLD government drinking water projects in AP to 1 MLD WTP in Kuwait — Pervel executes water treatment at any scale, anywhere.
