Founded in Chennai in 2003, built on engineering rigour, and trusted by India's largest industries — Pervel has been solving water treatment challenges across India and beyond for over two decades.
Pervel Water Management Solutions was established in 2003 in Chennai, Tamil Nadu, with a focused vision — to deliver reliable, technically sound water treatment engineering for India's growing industrial and institutional sector. Within five years, Pervel secured its first multi-site order — a 6-site RO plant deployment for DPSA Educational Institutions across Chennai in 2008 — establishing our capability for large-scale, multi-location project execution.
The years that followed marked a series of engineering firsts. In 2010, Pervel commissioned a 400 KLD Ultrafiltration plant at Covai Medical College, Coimbatore — the first of its kind in Coimbatore — for STP treated water recovery. In 2015, we delivered two landmark projects in Kerala for Hitech Mall (1 MLD UF) and Hitech Apartment (200 KLD UF) — the first ultrafiltration-based STP water recovery systems in Kerala, reducing water costs for large commercial and residential facilities.
Today, Pervel delivers complex, multi-technology water treatment systems for India's most demanding clients — from BHEL, IOCL, HPCL, BPCL, and L&T to global companies like THK, Kevin Care, Nilkamal, BOSCH, and US-based WP&E. Our projects span pharmaceutical WFI systems, high-purity robotic process water, international deployments in Kuwait, and large-scale ultrafiltration for STP water recovery. With 100+ projects delivered across India and beyond, Pervel continues to engineer water solutions that industries trust.
Pervel's capability spans the complete project lifecycle — from initial process design through fabrication, EPC execution, and long-term operations support.
Pervel delivers comprehensive process design packages built on site-specific data — inlet water characterisation, treatability studies, mass balance calculations, hydraulic gradient analysis, equipment sizing, chemical dosing design, and instrumentation philosophy. All designs meet CPCB, TNPCB, CPHEEO, BIS, and USP/IP standards.
BOD/COD load calculations, biomass quantification, oxygen transfer calculations, aeration system design (diffused/surface), MLSS management, HRT/SRT optimisation — MBBR (media fill ratio, carrier sizing), SBR (cycle time optimisation, decant design), MBR (membrane flux, TMP management), and Extended Aeration systems.
Equalisation sizing, coagulation-flocculation jar test interpretation, primary clarifier design, biological treatment selection (aerobic/anaerobic/combined), secondary clarifier, nutrient removal (N, P), tertiary treatment (sand filtration, AC, UV/chlorination), and sludge dewatering (filter press, centrifuge sizing).
SDI assessment, membrane selection (spiral wound, hollow fibre), system recovery calculations, concentrate management, antiscalant dosing design, pressure vessel and array sizing, permeate quality prediction, CIP system design, and energy recovery considerations.
Recovery train design (primary RO + high recovery RO), brine concentration calculations, MEE sizing, ATFD design, crystalliser sizing, steam consumption calculations, condensate recovery, and solid waste quantification.
Resin type selection (SAC, WBA, SBA, mixed bed), resin volume calculations based on ionic load, regeneration chemical sizing (HCl, NaOH), degasser design, conductivity and silica profile prediction, and mixed bed polisher sizing for ultrapure applications.
Pre-treatment train (RO + EDI / Mixed Bed), multi-effect distillation sizing, hot and cold loop distribution in SS316L, TOC and conductivity compliance to USP/IP/BP, endotoxin control, and GMP documentation support.
Pervel's dedicated fabrication unit manufactures water treatment equipment to IS standards — giving direct control over quality, lead time, and cost. All items undergo dimensional inspection, weld quality checks (visual and DPT), hydrostatic pressure testing, and material traceability verification before dispatch.
MS pressure vessels to IS 2825 / ASME Section VIII, FRP vessels for corrosive applications, sand filter housings, activated carbon filter vessels, iron removal filters, cartridge filter housings, and membrane pressure vessels — with appropriate nozzle sizing, manholes, and pressure ratings per process requirements.
MS underground and overhead storage tanks, chemical dosing tanks, equalisation tanks, sludge holding tanks, brine tanks, and chemical day tanks — with anti-corrosion lining (epoxy, rubber, FRP lining) based on fluid compatibility requirements.
Complete skid-mounted systems — RO skids, UF skids, chemical dosing skids, softener skids, DM plant skids, and filtration packages — fabricated on MS structural frames, fully assembled, piped, and factory-tested before dispatch. Reduces site installation time significantly.
MS structural supports, equipment platforms, pipe supports, walkways, staircases, and handrails — surface-treated (shot blasting, primer, epoxy paint) per project specifications. All welding by qualified welders per IS/ASME standards with DPT and hydrostatic testing.
Pervel assumes complete EPC responsibility — from detailed engineering through performance guarantee trials. One team, one contract, one point of accountability. Structured with QCP, ITP, and HSE compliance throughout, with full handover documentation including O&M manuals, as-built drawings, and test certificates.
RCC tank construction, equipment foundation design and execution, pipe trench, cable trench, equipment room construction, and boundary structures — supervised directly by Pervel's project team with documented quality control throughout.
Supply and erection of pumps, blowers, aerators, clarifiers, filters, membrane systems, chemical dosing systems, and sludge handling equipment — with alignment, grouting, and commissioning checks per OEM recommendations.
MS, SS304/316L, HDPE, uPVC, and CPVC process piping fabrication and installation per P&ID — including supports, hangers, flanges, valves, and pressure testing with documented inspection records.
MCC panel design and supply, power distribution, field cabling, earthing and lightning protection, flow meters, level/pressure transmitters, pH/ORP/conductivity/turbidity analysers, PLC-based control system, SCADA/HMI development, alarm and trip logic, data logging, and remote monitoring provisions.
Pervel provides structured Annual Maintenance Contracts (AMC) and long-term O&M support — from routine preventive maintenance to complex plant diagnostics and technology revamping — ensuring sustained performance and regulatory compliance long after commissioning.
Scheduled PM per OEM recommendations — pump overhauls, blower servicing, valve maintenance, instrumentation calibration, membrane integrity testing, and filter media replacement. Online monitoring of TMP, conductivity, pH, TDS, turbidity, BOD/COD tracked against design guarantees with trend analysis.
NPF and salt rejection tracking, CIP execution and effectiveness assessment, membrane replacement planning, ion exchange resin activity testing, regeneration optimisation, and resin replacement as per exhaustion data. Consumable and chemical procurement and supply included.
Assessment and revamping of ageing or underperforming plants — hydraulic re-rating, technology upgradation (ASP to MBBR, gravity to pressure filter, single to double-pass RO), capacity enhancement, and civil modification. Scope includes audit, gap analysis report, revamping design, procurement, and execution.
Biological: MLSS/MLVSS profiling, SVI measurement, microscopic biomass assessment (filamentous bulking, foaming, pin floc), DO profiling, F/M ratio, nitrification/denitrification efficiency, toxicity shock identification.
Chemical: Coagulant/flocculant dose optimisation by jar testing, LSI/Stiff-Davis scaling index, RO membrane autopsy, resin poisoning diagnosis, and chemical compatibility review — delivered as a structured diagnostic report with corrective action plan and implementation support.
